Since 1916, we have been strongly committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service in the building and construction markets.  We cover the full spectrum of work from jobbing to large commercial projects, providing project budgeting, planning, management and construction.

Building and maintaining relationships with our customers is at the heart of our business.  We have a planning and management style that is consultative and systematic.  We believe in a proactive approach to all aspects of our business, but in particular to quality, health and safety (ACC WSMP tertiary qualified), environmental performance and human relations.  By getting this right, we give our customers confidence and peace of mind during the process of planning, design and construction.

The hands-on responsibilities and team approach of Company Directors Martin Stephens (Business Development and Construction), Peter Cottam (Service, Joinery and Small Works), Alistair Doré (Finance and Accounting) underpin our organisation with a powerful and proven synergy. 

We employ only experienced and qualified Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Site Foremen.  Because we employ our own qualified tradesmen and apprentices, we are better able to maintain high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

We are committed to the future of our industry, and training is regularly undertaken externally and within our business activities.  Clelands Construction Limited is a long time Registered Master Builder.
