Optimiser – Dimpter Opticut 350
This machine is used for the defecting of raw timber to maximize the value recovery of clear timber components and finger joint block.

The marked timber is scanned, measured, calculated and cut according to the redetermined specifications.

Fingerjointer – Lakeland
The micro finger joint with 4mm face-to-face joints produces on engineering timber products that are straighter, stronger and easier to use than solid Radiata Pine.

Moulders – Weinig
Three late model Weinig Moulders are used to profile the timber.  They have the capability of producing small moulders and also large end sections up to 310mm wide.

Laminating Presses
Our 20 section Taylor Press can product laminated posts and edge-blued panels.  The press is capable of gluing material 5400mm long x 900mm wide x 150mm thick.  To compliment the Taylor Press we have a rotary beam press with maximum length capability of 7200mm long with two floor bed presses
All exterior products are laminated using resourcinal glue adhesive to ensure the structural integrity of the product.

Costa Planer Sander
This machine planes and then has two sanding belts to provide a high quality finish product.  The sander has the ability to sand panels up to 13500mm wide.

Preprimer
Two paint lines are operating an alkyd spray line and a single pass vacuum line ith two vacuum coaters and two gas catalytic driers using new generation cross linking acrylic primer and undercoat.  This technology ensures total paint coverage with a controlled distribution of paint.

Packaging and Distribution
Product for export markets is packaged and strapped onto wooden bases for containerisation.  Domestic product is held in stock and distributed overnight to most North Island destinations.

Treatment
Treatment is undertaken using the Osmose Light Organic Solvent Preservative (LOSP) system, which has a 25-year guarantee against fungal and insect attach.
